Get to know a traditional Cellar in the area of the Higher Almanzora
To continue and following the route established
in the elaboration of the wine itself:
1. Hopper where the grapes are loaded.-Here it will be explained how after receiving the grapes, these will be separated from the stems and sent directly to the maceration tanks.
2. Tank Gallery.-Here the different elaboration phases are explained: Maceration, alcoholic fermentation, malolactic fermentation, coupages, filtrations, cold decanting, etc.
3. Bottling Line.-The working method of a modern bottling line will be explained here. It is very interesting due to the technology used to contribute towards the perfect conservation of the wine.
4. Cava de crianza.-Situated underground, this cava transports us to a world where silence, shadows and wood forge the character of our wines.
5. Tasting room.- In this modern room, as is all the cellar, Bodegas Alto Almanzora offer a glass of wine, the characteristics of which will be described by one of our oenologists.
6. Exhibition and sale.-Exhibition and sale.- The visit will conclude in our magnificent reception hall, where all that you may require may be purchased. Not only bottles of wine but also a series of articles, objects and gift items related to the world of wine.

*Bodegas Alto Almanzora will now be opening on Saturdays from 9:00 till 15:00.
Guided visits inside the winery are available with prior appointment and include a tour through
our winery and cellars, a tasting of our three best wines and a gift of a bottle of our wine.
Entrance to the tour, with groups up to 30 people, cost 5.00 € per person.
